Preston turned 13! He had the boys in his class plus a couple other close friends from the neighborhood - Jasper and Caleb.
We did a box construction project and the boys did a great job!

Kelly planned a group outing with a bunch of our friends to Faith Hope Charity Winery for my 50th birthday. We have been to this winery a number of times - is a hidden gem in the central Oregon region.
Kevin and our friend Molly both have the same birthday - June 6 so we ditched the kids and went to one of our favorite restaurants - “The Open Door” in sisters. The weather was perfect - a great evening.
Noah wanted to do a backpacking trip with some friends for his birthday. Unfortunately, one of them broke his foot, so it was just 4 of us this year. A few years ago we did the same on his 13th birthday.
This trip we went to another one of the cascade volcanoes. Mt. Thielsen in southern Oregon.
Preston turned 9 this week. He got to have a pancake breakfast out and a day off of school. It was a fun relaxing day for our favorite guy. He counted down the days until his special day. He said it was the best day EVER! Preston is so easy going and is always happy. We love him so much! ❤️
What a fun birthday week Noah had! We love the young man he is becoming and we are so proud of him.
Kelly shared her birthday with Mother's day this year! A double celebration for a great mother and a great person!
Hunter turned 12 today. Hard to believe he is this old. It seems like just yesterday he was born. We went as a family to Sun River to a virtual reality place where the kids got to play. Hunter had his friend Nathan from school come along. It was a great afternoon for a birthday celebration.
Thank you Hunter for being such a gift to us. Thank you for making us parents. We love you Hunter!!
Abbie officially turned 7 on the 20th. It was the day we got back from a week at Black Butte. Everyone was tired so we decided to celebrate the next day. We went to Redmond not far from Bend for a lovely afternoon of tea. The tea house is owned by a woman from the UK who has moved to Oregon. The tea house is called AK's Tea Room. How how fitting that was for Miss Abbie-Kate (AK). Abbie wanted it girls only and invited LuLu, Aislyn and her mom Tina, a dear family friend to come along for her birthday afternoon. Lulu even treated the girls to handmade head warmers for winter. It was a perfect way to celebrate our sweet Abbie.
This year Abbie's birthday fell on our vacation to Black Butte. Since her two cousins - Olivia (turning 2) and Charlotte (turning 1) are both August babies and we were all together we thought it would be fun to celebrate the 3 girl cousins together.
