The caldera XC team made state again this year. Weather much nicer than last year!
Noah works up at mount Bachelor so he gets some free passes to the activities up there. Since he works weekend I took the day off today and we went zip lining. It’s super fun and the biggest zip line in the Pacific Northwest.
Noah had a go pro and filmed the last of 3 sections on the run.
Maybe he needs to get into a formal diving program…
Abbie and Kelly flew to California for Charlotte and Anna’s first communion. They then all drove back to Oregon and stayed for Kelly and Erin’s birthdays.
It was a fast and fun week. They took a trip down to Sunriver and the girls got to go horse back riding. We all drove to Eugene to see Noah run at the Hayward field for the State meet.
So grateful for family and good times. ❤️

I had picked up these knives for the boys and one for me from one of my favorite small online businesses - Thunder Crow/Creek Stewart.
A little rainy/snowy/cold today so PJ, Noah and I built our knives today. (Hunter will have to do his when he comes home at some point:).
Here is what comes in the kit:
We started by carving and sanding the handle.
We then uses the resin the fix the blade in the notch, did some burning on the handle to decorate, put some oil on the handles and did the final twine wrap to keep the blade in.
The Caldera boys and girls varsity teams made the Oregon state championships this year. Noah had a great race. Their team finished 8th in the state! He finished 3rd on his team (teams consist of 7 runners) 51st out of the top 94 runners in the state! A great finish for the season. We are so proud of him!!
