Last trip of the summer

Abbie and I headed down to California for a last quick trip before school started. We got to be there for Charlotte’s 10th birthday, which was really special. We also got to see California Baptist University. This is the year we will be looking at colleges for both Noah and Abbie. While we were there, we got to see Bob and Nancy and Colleen who were visiting and also Jamie and WanYe, who are right up the road from CBU. It’s always so fun going home and getting to see family.

Trip to Cali, Oregon and state Track finals

Abbie and Kelly flew to California for Charlotte and Anna’s first communion. They then all drove back to Oregon and stayed for Kelly and Erin’s birthdays.

It was a fast and fun week. They took a trip down to Sunriver and the girls got to go horse back riding. We all drove to Eugene to see Noah run at the Hayward field for the State meet.

So grateful for family and good times. ❤️

96 Years Young

My grandma turned 96 today. She is the classiest lady I know. She is always positive and joy just radiates from her. I can only hope I can be half the women she is.

Love you to pieces Grandma!

Happy birthday!

Boat Trip to Avalon/Catalina

This weekend we were treated to a boat trip to Avalon on Catalina with "Uncle Don" and "Aunt Nancy".  Don and Nancy are actually the parents of Dylan (Jennifer's husband) and grandparents to Jennifer and Dylan's children. They have a beautiful boat and they were able to take us on it. Kelly and the kids were lucky enough to go last year, however this was my first time.

Erin's birthday weekend

Last weekend Erin, Jennifer my mom and I met in San Francisco and went to Half Moon Bay. We celebrated Erin's 40th birthday. We had a wonderful time and made many special memories. It was so nice to have no schedule and no interruptions. We ate, laughed a lot, got to go horseback riding and went for many long walks along the beach. It was a very special weekend celebrating Erin and enjoying girl time.
