Noah and Preston have their first soccer game today. Go team Smoke! Go team Sharks! It’s going to be a fun season with these two!
It’s that time of year again where the kids started back at school. We had a wonderful summer but looking forward to schedules and routine again. Hunter- 7th Noah- 5th Abbie- 4th Preston-1st Kelly- 2 days a week in kindergarten

Abbie had her friends, Ashtyn and our neighbor Avrie over to help her celebrate her special day. The girls got to paint bird houses, play pin the horn on the unicorn, eat Abbie's favorite dinner of ravioli, followed by unicorn cupcakes and ended the night watching the old film, "The Parent Trap" outside. It was fun birthday celebration.🎈🎂🎉
Sunday afternoon there was an organized 'range day' with the church middle school and high school. We shot pistols and rifles. Here is a cool capture of the rifle muzzle blast we got via slo motion video on an iPhone.
Noah went to Camp Tadmor this week and we picked him up today. He had a great time as always and can't wait to go back.
We got invited to go up boating for the day this past Sunday. Hunter and his friend Asher were tubing until their arms fell off.
Abbie went to Cougar Camp this week. It's a day camp day camp here in town and she had such a fun time. Her camp name was "Wild Flower." the campers got to hike, bike, swim, make crafts, sing songs and do skits.
Jennifer and the Gormly cousins came to visit this week. What fun week had!!
The kids got to have many swim days followed by biking riding, ice cream eating, movie watching, staying up late and camping out at Camp Owl (in the backyard). We even got to celebrate the two "sister cousins" August birthdays. It doesn't get better than that!
