Hunter ran in his second track meet last week and did vey well. He ran the 400 meter (1 full lap) and the 110m hurdles. He came in 4th place out of 8 runners in the 400 and 3rd place in the hurdles out of 8 runners. So proud of him for doing such a great job.
Yesterday, Hunter and I went with the youth group hiking up Misery Ridge near Smith Rock. It was a perfect day with white puffy clouds and blue sky. If you look closely you will see "Monkey Face" which is a large rock resembling the face of a monkey.
Deer are normal to have around here, but over the past few months a pair of peacocks seems to have made a 6 house block in our neighborhood their home.
Kevin took pictures of the backyard and a few people asked to take some pictures from a different angle.
The last picture is of Kevin working on building the garden. Kevin loves working in the yard and it's so fun seeing him getting to do what he loves..... Rain or shine.
Last summer, we did our front landscaping near the end of June. We focused here as that was the first thing people saw when they came up to the house. This spring I wanted to get our sides and back done a little earlier so we could enjoy the yard through the entire summer.

Happy Easter from the Donaldson Crew. He is Risen!
We just returned from a Spring break trip to Texas. We stayed with our friends the Kerrs at their family ranch in the hill country northwest of San Antonio near Helotes. The ranch is steeped in history and was a blast to be there . We spent the last two days staying in and exploring San Antonio and we were able to make it up to Fredericksburg on our last day before flying out in the evening.
Abbie spent St. Paddy's day performing at many retirement homes in Bend and ending the day at a pub in town. It was a fun day for Abbie and all the dancers.
A few weeks ago LuLu and Papa were visiting and were able to attend Grandparent's Day at school. They took some funny pictures and had a great morning.
Today Hunter’s youth group with Church did a snowshoe outing. It was also exciting for me as it was my first outdoor event since being in the hospital over a month ago. It was a great day.
