Pappie (Ralph) got the kids snowshoes for Christmas so with the two pair we already had we now have a set for everyone. Today was ideal for a practice run with sunny skies. We hiked 3 miles.
Happy New Year 2019 from the Donaldson Crew.
After the Gormlys left early on New Years Eve morning we decided to have a quiet evening at home. We played games and even our dog Holly was tired and hit the hay early.
The Gormlys came into town on the 27th and we had a great time. We went ice skating, sledding, skiing, snowshoeing and spent many nights by the fire. It’s was such a fun week and lots of good memories were made.
My parents gifted us adult kids a Wanderlust snowshoe tour. We’ve done it before with them and it’s such a fun memorable experience. Thank you LuLu and Papa for the exciting night up on the mountain.
Christmas eve dinner and Christmas morning
We were also blessed with a white Christmas. It started snowing on Christmas eve and we had a great walk Christmas day.
Tonight we lit the fourth candle on our advent wreath. The fourth candle is the candle of LOVE and it symbolizes the love Christ has for us.
Kevin and I got a four pack this season up at Mt Bachelor and if you get a ski in before the 20th you get a fifth day free. After dropping off the kids at school we skied for a few hours. It was a perfect day for skiing, the snow was fresh and the temperature was great.
Abbie was in the Christmas play at church today. She did a great and it was so fun to watch.
