Today is the second Sunday of Advent. Tonight we lit the second purple candle which is PEACE.
Kevin took Abbie and Preston up to the mountain today for their first ski lesson. While they were up skiing, Noah and I watched Hunter in the parade and then went over to a live interactive Bethlehem. The boys got to make pottery, paint, transcribe and bake bread. It was so much fun!
Today was the downtown Bend Christmas parade. Hunter was in the parade with a friend from school. His friend's grandfather has an old Ford hot rod truck that the boys got to ride in. Hunter had a great time.
As we get closer to our move in and the weather continues to get cooler I am still cutting and stacking wood as there is time. Today my helper was PJ!
Today marks the first night of Advent. We lit the first candle which is HOPE on our Advent wreath. We talked about what the different colors represent and how we can prepare our hearts for Christmas.
Our pots and pans and dishes are all packed so we had Thanksgiving dinner out. It was fun but we are looking forward to having Thanksgiving in our home next year.
2nd annual for us. Last year it was just Hunter, Noah, and Kevin. This year the entire Donaldson crew participated.
