Kelly and Abbie were in California this past weekend for Erin's baby shower (Kelly's sister). Here are some pictures from the shower and the weekend with friends and family.
For Kevin's birthday, we went up to Walton Lake for the day with our friend Tina and her 3 kids. Walton Lake is in the Ochoco Mountains east of Bend. This small, pretty lake sits about 4000 ft and is surrounded by Ponderosa pine and green meadows. We brought up the canoe with two kids kayaks that we got for this summer.... which they love! We tried a little fishing and got to witness an amazing display by a bald eagle flying over the lake looking for its dinner and even doing a mid-air fight with an osprey.
All the kids selected a book and did a report and then presented at a book fair night at this school. He did a great job!
I was in Vegas this week for work and we went to see Carlos Santana live at the House of Blues. A great table and excellent music.

Kelly was away on the girls weekend so 3 of the dads met up for lunch (9 kids between us) at one of the local breweries. Man - doesn't that look like a pile of kids!
