Hunter at his ski elective at Mt Bachelor on Friday
To say that our summer has been busy would be an understatement. We have had lots of guests and have played a lot outdoors in beautiful Bend. Sometimes we have to pinch ourselves because we get to live in this wonderful place where people come to vacation.
Pappie arrived yesterday evening and we couldn't be happier to see him. The kids are enjoying every minute so far talking his ear off and just being silly.
We spent the day hanging out and visiting. We took a ride up to our ski hill, Mt. Bachelor. We rode up the ski lift, walked around and enjoyed the beautiful views, while still managing to throw a snowball or two.
We ended the day celebrating Pappie! Happy birthday, Pappie.... We love you!!!
Abbie and Preston have been in lessons for 3 weeks in December which ended this past Saturday
Today was our first time with all 6 of us skiing together.

While Bachelor usually stays open until the memorial day weekend, it will likely melt out at the bottom before that point this year due to the lack of snow. It was very thin near the bottom today, but up high it was great so we spent out last day out near the top of the mountain. Really nice and warm today making the snow super soft. We had a great day and a pre-celebration of Hunter turning double digit birthday tomorrow.

Hunter wanted to hit the park today so we spent most of the day there. Unfortunately Noah wasn't feeling well so he couldn't make it. Here is one of his jumps. He doesn't quite stick this one but he was landing and sticking others.
